Debby started her career as a dispatcher with the Porter County Sheriff’s Department in 1997 before PCCC became autonomous with the consolidations of both Valparaiso Police Department and Portage Police Department. She left dispatching for a period of time before returning in 2010. She has held positions of SOP committee member, CTO, Assistant Shift Supervisor, Supervisor, and Training Coordinator. In 2019 she obtained her Registered Public Safety Leader certification and is currently studying for her ENP certification. She has been a Kouts resident for the majority of her life. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and hiking.
Andrew was promoted to Assistant Director in June 2023. He began his career in 2007 as a part time dispatcher with Hebron Police Department and became a full time Telecommunicator with Porter County Central Communications in December 2008 prior to Hebron handing over dispatch operations to Porter County. Andrew has been a CTO, Assistant Shift Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, and is currently the Assistant IDACS Coordinator. He is a graduate of Chesterton High School and Vincennes University. Andrew is currently a resident of Valparaiso.
Christina started as Porter County Central Communications Training Coordinator in August 2022. Christina has been a Telecommunicator with Porter County since 2007 and has been an active CTO since 2013. Christina is very proud of her many trainees as they continue to excel in their role as Porter County’s first first responders. Christina is a Valparaiso native and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from Purdue University. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and loves college basketball.
Shaun has been a telecommunicator since 2005 starting his career with Valparaiso Police Department. Shaun began working for PCCC in March of 2012 and has held the position of telecommunicator, CTO, and assistant supervisor before being appointed as Quality Assurance Manager in 2019. As the QA Manager, Shaun's duties include evaluating telecommunicator performance to ensure policy, procedure, and protocol are adhered to. He is also responsible for responding to APRA/FOIA requests for records/recordings. In his free time Shaun enjoys camping and spending time with family.
Scott was hired at Porter County Central Communications in October of 2002 as mapping and application developer. Using ESRI's ArcGIS products and a series of additional applications he developed, Scott was able to immediately impact the map update process and improve accuracy in the Porter County 911 Dispatch mapping system. Scott has developed several applications which support dispatch operations by providing additional tools to improve dispatcher efficiency. Additionally, Scott developed a map and addressing training program specific to Porter County for new dispatchers. Before joining Porter County Central Communications Scott was employed as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. Scott is also a diving coach at Valparaiso High School .
Rich was hired in January of 2018 as the E-911 Systems Administrator. He is an Experienced System Administrator and Emergency Number Professional (ENP) with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Skilled in Law Enforcement, Databases, Team Building, Public Speaking, and Criminal Investigations. Strong information technology professional with a Computer & Information Technology, AAS, and BS focused in CNIT from Purdue University.
